Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
Notice to Clients and Creditors regarding Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). As and from the 6th March 2023, Mangan O’Beirne Solicitors LLP have been authorised to operate and are operating as a Limited Liability Partnership. As and from 6th March 2023, as set out in S123 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 (subject to the exceptions listed therein) a partner in Mangan O’Beirne Solicitors LLP (herein referred to as “the LLP”) has no personal liability for any debts, liabilities or obligations which are incurred for the purpose of carrying out the business of the LLP (whether these are liabilities of the LLP, of himself or herself, of any other partner or partners of the LLP or of any employee, agent or representative of the LLP) and howsoever such liability may arise. This relates only to the personal liability of Partners. It does not prevent or restrict the enforcement against the property of the LLP of any debt, liability or obligation. From 6th March 2023 the Partnership Act 1890 applies to the LLP to the extent that it is not inconsistent with Chapter Part 8 of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015.
